This was one of the first screamo albums I ever listened to (I have no idea how as this band is barely known, and not in the hip obscure way) and I hadn’t heard it in about a year until, thank you shuffle, it came on today. This shit is intense. It’s sort of a blend of scramz, grind and experimental hardcore. The altered sound bytes are used so fucking well (check out 2 minutes into ‘dakota’ to see what I mean) and take what would just be decent, angry music to a whole new level. What’s more, these guys are Singaporean! They’re tiny internet presence is sad, but I i did discover that the band is now dead. RIP.
